# CollideAI

> AI roleplay for Android. You bring a world and a character, the AI plays

CollideAI is an AI roleplay chat app. You create characters and a setting, then
play in one of two modes. There is no fixed script and no intended path: the
story goes wherever your choices take it.

## Modes

- **Story mode**: you control one character. The AI narrates everyone else,
  allies, enemies and bystanders, along with timing, terrain and what your
  choices cost you. Any moment can be captured as a picture.
- **Texting mode**: no prose and no narrator, just an SMS-style thread with one
  character who writes the way they talk and sends photos that match how they
  have looked all along.

## What it does

- **Memory that holds**: backstory is locked, current state (injuries, moods,
  who is speaking to whom) updates as you play. It still tracks two hundred
  messages in.
- **Rewind any moment**: delete a message and everything after it goes too,
  including what the AI learned from it, so you can take the other branch from a
  clean state.
- **Canon worlds or your own**: start in an established setting and it already
  knows the rules, or describe something new and it builds outward from what you
  give it. Popular starting points include Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer,
  Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, Naruto and One Piece.
- **Pictures**: turn any scene into an image, and receive photos from characters
  while texting.
- **Everything is a switch**: photos, text effects and sound each toggle off, so
  it runs as a full production or as plain prose.
